Due to severe weather conditions, the University will return to full operation at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15.
Our facilities team has been working through the day to clear roads, walkways and parking lots across campus, and will continue to do so through tomorrow as the storm moves out of the area. Please use caution when moving about campus, as the winter weather may still lead to slippery conditions around campus. Please also be advised that treated areas may melt and refreeze. Facilities staff will continue to treat snow and icy areas throughout the day, but please continue to exercise caution. If traveling to campus from outside the Lewisburg area, give special consideration to your local weather conditions.
As a reminder, in situations such as extreme weather events, the University provides staff members with certain attendance options according to their individual circumstances. Staff members in positions not designated as essential services may be able to continue work assignments remotely. However, all staff members will be paid for work hours missed as a result of this weather event during the period of reduced operations. Please discuss the situation with your supervisor so that they have up-to-date information concerning your attendance.
If any other schedule changes are necessary, information will be posted to this list and sent to local radio and TV stations.
